On 8th December show creator Bryan Fuller tweeted that he was hoping for a Spring 2010 publication for the "Pushing Daisies" graphic novel (note the account is unverified).
Now Chi McBride, who played Emerson Cod on the show (and whose latest project, "Human Target" debuts on Fox this weekend) has told Sci-Fi Wire that he's seen the first couple of pages and that "It was off the hook. It's really good...It seems a little darker, which is a lot of things that Bryan couldn't do. There's one particular story that I hope he does called 'The Head.' I wished he could've done it during the series. It was awesome."
