With the new series' launch less than a month away, it's becoming increasingly hard to avoid Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, who are interviewed in the latest issues of Esquire and InStyle Magazine respectively.
Today The Guardian has also published a lengthy interview with Matt, which you can read here. As Matt explains, he was actually hoping to become a professional footballer until injury put a stop to this, however the new Doctor will be putting those skills to use in a future episode, as can be seen below.
